Somewhere in Crawford Tx ( or wherever George W Bush is) he is probably saying "I told you so..."
If you read the papers, or watch the news all you see are arrests all across Europe. 9 in Britain, 7 in Germany, 4 in Denmark and on and on....
Do these guys not know Bush is gone? Have they not heard the war on terror is over?
Years ago, on the 14th of Sept 2001 and George Bush warned the world, this would be a long war and would be a war between modernization and fanatics. It had nothing to do with him or the US. Now 10 years later the Europeans are starting to get it. 10 years?!!!!
Also just this August the German government finally shut down the Taiba Mosque in Hamburg, where the terrorist for 9/11 came from. 9 fucking years too late.
This week the German Interior Ministry raided mosques and two organizations and made arrest of people who weren't doing anything, or hadn't done anything yet. Using direct quotes..."a democracy shouldn't wait until faced with a violent form of holy war before it takes action against organizations that oppose the German constitution."
HELL0! DOES THIS NOW SOUND LIKE THE REASON TO GO TO WAR IN IRAQ? THE BUSH DOCTRINE OF BEING ON OFFENSE?
Well we have always been on this band wagon, thou we don't like to brag. We have humility. We don't want to make our European friends feel stupid, so we want say "I told you so..."
