Shia + Sunni = Muslims!
Let us all begin this new year with prayers for peace and harmony. Then lets get to the reality. There will be no peace until the religion changes.
So much has happened in the interm. We have all been away, but not detached. Here are the two big events and our views.
1) Hanging Saddam is not an issue for the modern muslim movement. Allah has much greater punishment waiting for Sadam and his like, who used religion to justify their actions. The hanging is a political thing. Modern muslims do not comment on criminal cases or political cases.
2) Civil War. This is an issue since it is between two sides of the religion. Shia and Sunni. Our position is let them have at it. Arm both sides equally and stand back. No amount of common sense will overcome the stubborness of these people. It will take the pain and sufferring before they realize Muslims can only prosper when united and living in harmony. Shia + Sunni = Muslims.
