The US government has been given the best opportunity to change the world with the current Saudi Arabia situation. The US is the only reason Saudi Arabia has the influence and role in the world today. The US has been on the wrong side for a long time and has not been able to because of various circumstances. The main being the supply of oil. However the US now is independent and can easily sustain itself without the Saudi Arabia. So there is no reason left to prop up the biggest evil in humanity. Saudi Arabia is responsible for all the evils targeting the US. Taliban, Isis, Al-Qaeda are all incubated by Saudi Arabia. The bombers from September 11 were all Saudi's. Why did the US not go to war against Saudi Arabia? Oil! The leverage against the US is gone, and now there is no reason for us to support Saudi Arabia. This is the regime bombing school buses, and clinics. This is the country which is stopping the peace process in the middle east. The US cannot make deals with Iran and others because the Saudi's hate Iran. If US was not beholden to Saudi Arabia it would be better able to make deals around the middle east and Afghanistan. The last straw against the Saudi's is they are now a preferred partner for Israel, which reinforces their corruptness. In killing Khashoggi Saudi Arabia has given the world a reason to reset the table. Sanction and isolate Saudi Arabia to the point where they can be overturned by all the groups who are wanting to overthrow this royal family. The new prince is nothing but a spoiled brat now getting his turn at the throne. He has done nothing but harm humanity. The problem here is America and the world has let this go on to the point where he felt he could do as he pleases. Unless the world shuts him down, he will continue to behave as such. The inaction of America begun by Obama has created an atmosphere where leaders feel empowered to do such crimes, because there is no consequences for their actions. Unfortunately Trump is continuing the Obama disengagement in the Middle East. Thus these leaders act as such. The shining light here for those who can see it, is this is the perfect excuse to cut ties and change American policy on Saudi Arabia and usher a new order. This president claims he is unique, well here is the test. Can you truthfully change history? Dump Saudi and open a dialog with Iran. Iran needs rescuing and America can kill two birds with one stone. Destroy the evil of Saudi Arabia and provide a platform of peace in the middle east. Luckily we don't gamble, because of the odds of an American president making a bold move for peace would be astronomical.

War on Saudi Arabia

We are tired of Peace and talk of peace. It seems the real and only solution to the issues with the corruption of the Muslim religion is to declare war on Saudi Arabia. Saudi government and the house of Saud is the main culprit in the corruption of Islam and as such no western leader should stand by without taking some type of meaningful action to turn this country around. So today we here declare war on Saudi Arabia and its family. We hope the rest of the freedom loving people and their countries see the truth and join the war. All evil comes from the Saudi's and as such we should all declare a global war on these heartless evil excuses for human beings. The only hope is the fact Saudi's are idiots and are running out of money. The ruling family has spent their inheritance and soon the walls will crumble.

Mercy for the executed!!!

When Saudi Arabia executes, they behead. They execute those who oppose freedom and equality, as well as criminals they deem deserving of the honor. The Imam of the country had the following quote after the last of the mass executions which have raised tension in the middle east. "Mercy to the prisoners, as it prevents them from committing more crimes" By beheading you, we are helping you. This way you can meet Allah with less sins on your record. How great a people are the Saudis? The Saudis make us want to cheer the bad guys.

Saudi Arabia has sent troops to help Bahrain quash the rebellion. To help Bahrain kill its people, who want democracy and freedom. If the third world war starts, here is why. How soon before Iran starts giving weapons to the rebellion. How can we who hate Iran not support that?

How the world failed?

We know history, we know we should learn from it, but the world leaders failed the test again. Three weeks ago, the world could have ensured another mindless dictator get thrown out, instead the spineless leaders made no decision and now Gadhafi will kill his people and stay in power and the country will go thru a generation more of darkness.

Its sad when the leaders of the world cannot see right from wrong. How much more clear does the choice have to be?

The Saudi government now facing dissent has ordered the police and the secret police to flood the capital and other cities to prevent demonstrations. Apparently promising to give away 37 Billion dollars to the citizens didn't work. Perhaps because corruption becomes more than a money thing after decades.

The part which makes us angry and laugh is the Saudi official policy. Demonstrations are not allowed in Saudi Arabia because they not Islamic. "They contradict Islamic Laws."

CONTRADICT ISLAMIC LAWS????? REALLY!!!! DO YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT CONTRADICT ISLAMIC LAWS AND SOCIETY????? SAUDI ARABIA AND WAHABISM IS ONE BIG CONTRADICTION. THEY TOOK THE HOLY LAND AND TURNED IT INTO HELL. THE SATAN LIVES IN SAUDI ARABIA.

CAIRO (AP) — A Saudi magazine on Tuesday said police arrested its editor a few days after he warned of a possible power struggle within the royal family because of the poor health of the king and crown prince.

The arrest reflects the Saudi ruling family's deep sensitivity over any public speculation over succession, splits or instability in its leadership.

King Abdullah, 86, is currently in New York recuperating after two back surgeries, while the next in line for the throne — his 85-year-old half-brother, Crown Prince Sultan — is also ailing, though nominally in charge in Saudi Arabia after spending more than a year recovering from his own medical treatment, reportedly for cancer.

Succession in the world's largest oil producer is from brother to brother, and with much of the current generation of the royal family in its 80s, there are concerns about the future stability of this key U.S. ally.

The Omma Conference magazine said in a statement posted on its website that police arrested its editor Mohammed Al-Abdul Karim at his home and took him to Hayer prison outside the capital Riyadh, but charges have yet been filed.

In an article last week, Al-Abdul Karim predicted that Abdullah's death might cause the oil-rich kingdom to fall apart.

"What if the family collapses by internal conflict, struggle within, or through foreign factors? Shall the (kingdom's) unity and the destiny of the people remain tied to whether royal family stays or goes?" he wrote in the article entitled "Searching for the Saudi People Destiny."

"Some of the statesmen are after a regime that only preserves their own interests which they find through autocracy, hegemony, greed, manipulation and bribes," he wrote.

Saudi officials could not be reached for comment.

The ailing king, who underwent a second operation to repair damaged vertebrae on Friday, has curtailed his activities since June, and has missed recent cabinet meetings.

Attention now is focussed on the likely second-in-line for the throne — the powerful interior minister and deputy prime minister Prince Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz. The 76-year-old Nayef, another half-brother of the king, chaired Cabinet meetings in the king's absence last month and is representing the kingdom at a crucial Gulf summit in neighboring United Arab Emirates. But he too has received unspecified medical treatment.

Many Saudis have been expressing concern about the possibility of a fierce power struggle as the current generation of princes — all sons of Saudi Arabia's founder King Abdul-Aziz Al Saud — age.

Middle East diplomats say the Saudi royal family has been divided into factions vying for power and expect the struggle to intensify with the deterioration of the king's and the crown prince's health.

Such a conflict could come at a crucial time for the main U.S. Gulf ally as the region faces up to challenges by Iran over its nuclear program and regional influence.

Abdullah rose to the throne in 2005 after the death of King Fahd, though he had already been a de-facto ruler for half a decade.

In an attempt to formalize the succession system, Abdullah in 2006 set up the Allegiance Council, a body that is composed of Abdul-Aziz's sons and grandsons, who will vote by a secret ballot to choose future kings and crown princes.

The council's mandate will not start until after the reigns of Abdullah and Sultan are over. That means it could weigh in on whether Nayef can step in.

The bigger question is what happens when the generation of Abdul-Aziz's sons runs out. The youngest of the seven or eight sons often cited as having the stature and experience to rule are in their mid-60s — suggesting the generation still has some time left in power.

But sooner or later, the throne will have to move on to the next generation, raising the potentially deeply divisive question of which Abdul-Aziz son will pass power to his own son. Abdullah's creation of the council aimed in part to provide a system for that transfer.

Each brother has sought to set up his sons in positions of power, in part to guarantee their line's position. Nayef's son Mohammed, for example, is chief of the powerful counterterrorism forces that took the lead in the fight against al-Qaida.

Before leaving the kingdom Abdullah handed his son Prince Miteb bin Abdullah the leadership of the elite quarter million-strong national guard.
